The 28th Foundation Week (Aug. 27 - Sept. 1) of North Negros College is here again, Hurray to another week of sportmanship, camaraderie, teamwork and talen shows. No other event has been more awaited by the students than this, a big event where no test or quizzes for the mean time, just pure 100% fun.
This Year, 6 color teams will battle their way to NNC Technical Technology Campus to vie for the title of 28th Foundation Week Overall Grand Champion. The Color Green and Yellow has been removed and can no longer be used as a team color to avoid confusion against the school color. The color, Red, Blue, Lilac, Pink, White and Orange were up for grabs for the 6 teams.
Prior to the week long celebration, it has also been a long 1 week of preparations which includes countless meetings, agonizing practices, bank breaking team collections, and many more. Meetings were usually held within the main campus, as team advisers announced thru their daily post. Practices on the other hand are scattered around the city. Some teams hold their practice at the Plaza area, some at the Talabaan and some have their own special place where no one can disturb them. The most painful part of the preparation was the student payments for the foundation week. Many were overwhelmed by the various fees to be paid: tshirts, sscnight, teachers night, team contribution, Kononia, outing and etc. It was not only hard for the students but twice as hard for the advicers in collecting some of the fees like tshirt payments, team contribution and outing. The finances tore the students pocket and the budgeting gave the advisers headaches, considering that not all have paid their dues. But in the long run, we survived, all the troubles have flown away, and what remains is the giggles, laughter and excitement for the week to come. :)
This site, is for the Mighty Red Team, (BSCS1E, CP1C, CTC1B, BSCS2, BSBA3) who bravely fought and gave all their best. This is their journey and their road to Glory, as they won the Overall Grand Champion. Congratulations to all of you, from the dancers, singers, players to the choreographer, assistants and designers. The advisers are so very thankful to the individuals who stood up and lead their team. Thank you for your support for the countless sleepless nights and exahausting days. And to all Redteam, MADAMO GID NGA SALAMAT, ASTIG ta ya! :)
