CheerDance Competition
Aug. 27, 2007No other event has drained the members and advisers than the Cheerdance competition. This event is the number one culprit for injuries, "akig from parents" for going home late coming from late night practices, budget deficits and etc. This is one major headache. Just gathering 50 participants was already an exhausting task for the adviser and choreographer. Add to it the depressing attendance when you only get 10 to 15 members who appears for the practice.
But all our hard work has paid off. The rainy day practices ("paulan going to plaza"), the tiring repetitive steps and the back breaking stunts, was all worth it. Our sacrifices has eventually turned into what most of us somehow dreamed of, winning the cheer dance competition.
Thank you to all cheerers for practicing even during sundays and for staying up late. Thank you for the CTC1B Boys who the advisers never thought would extend their help but was their for the stunts. :) Thanks to some our members who helped for the cheeres makeup. Thank you to the choreogrpher who never gave up and placed all his best and talents to the team. Go RED TEAM!
