Feb. 27, 2007. 11:25 AM. Next stop for that morning was Alegre Guitars. Alegre Guitars is a company who specializes on handicraft. They mainly produce guitars and along side with it are some local souvenirs, like key chains, beads bracelet, wooden accessories, and etc.

We had the greatest respect for the guitar makers of Alegre because of the skill they have shown us. They have kept the traditional way of making guitars which is always and always be handmade. The company itself is as old as when the spaniards brought guitar making on the island.

The moment we saw the souvenirs displayed and hanging on the booth, we couldn't help ourselves but buy at least one for our family and friends who didn't make it to come with us here in Cebu.

We really enjoyed the sites at alegre but it was already way past 12:00 noon and lunch is no where in sight. =(.
